A practical one-day plan for cruising out of Menorca, built around swim stops, an easy lunch, and a sunset return.
From the port outwards

09:30 · Depart the marina
Cast off from a main marina in Menorca and set a relaxed pace so everyone settles in. Confirm the route with the skipper based on wind and swell before you head to the first swim stop.

11:00 · First swim stop
Drop anchor in a sheltered bay for a swim straight from the platform. Aim for late morning for clearer water and fewer boats, and keep an eye on holding if the seabed is patchy.

13:00 · Lunch on the water
Choose an easy lunch plan: onboard catering or a waterfront table with tender drop-off. In high season, reserve ahead and keep a backup bay if the anchorage gets busy.

16:00 · Slow cruise & toys
Cruise along the coast and use water toys at a calm stop. Keep an eye on traffic and local speed limits near ports; the crew can suggest quieter pockets for a longer swim.

19:00 · Sunset return
Time the return for golden hour and head back toward Menorca. If the sea is up, pick a more sheltered line and arrive early enough for a smooth dock-in.
About Menorca
Mahón's natural harbour is the easiest place in Menorca to start a charter — sheltered, well served, and close enough to the south coast calas that a half-day on the water never feels rushed. Our fleet spans 114 yachts, from compact day boats built for four or five guests to superyachts over 50 metres with cabins for twelve, so the boat is chosen to fit the day rather than the other way round.
Charters run by the half-day, full day, or by the week, with most groups settling on somewhere between a morning cala-hop and an overnight run toward Fornells or south past Cala Mitjana. Pricing works on a day rate plus running costs — fuel, provisioning, harbour fees — clarified before you commit, so there are no surprises once the lines are cast off. High season, June through September, brings warmer water and steadier conditions; May and October trade a little wind for quieter anchorages and lighter rates.
For guests staying several days, we handle provisioning and route planning together — stocking the boat before you board, then sequencing stops so a two- or three-night run toward Pregonda lands in the early or late window, away from the day-tripper traffic that fills the same bays by mid-morning.
